Dear Clients and Friends,

As a small business, I share your concerns for the future. Over the past few days, I’ve compiled some resources that I’d like to share with you. I’m not a banker or expert in these topics and would direct your questions to the various links included.

Much of this information has been garnered through my association with the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce. They are working closely with the other Chambers in our county as well as directly with state and local government entities to help business owners navigate through these uncertain times. In Florida there are two loan programs available for businesses.:
Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program through the SBA

Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program through the Florida Dept of Economic Opportunity

There’s also the Paycheck Protection Program which allows you, the business owner to continue making payroll. I don’t have a link for this one. Information on the Big I attachment states it should be available through any SBA certified banker.
