When these same companies started cancelling homeowners policies by the thousands, I began to look for a better way to serve the needs of our community.
Blue Sky Insurance Agency was created as a result of that search. As an independent Insurance Agent, I represent many “A” rated companies eager to meet your needs. I can write many specialty lines of insurance as “stand alone” policies such as flood, jewelry, fine arts, firearms, boats & personal liability umbrella’s. People ask, Why “Blue Sky”…
The agency was created as a solution to the current homeowners insurance situation in coastal areas of Florida. While in the early planning stages, my husband & I had a conversation about how different our lives would be after I left the world of employment to start my own business. It was a conversation filled with optimism & hope & when I said I saw “nothing but clear sailing & blue skies” for our future, he responded that “Blue Skies” was the only Willie Nelson song he really liked. (Although in truth, it’s an Irving Berlin song) Like our hopes for this venture, the song is also filled with optimism.
Our goal is to carry that optimism forward into the community by offering coverage to families who’s policies have been cancelled thru no fault of their own. And of course, as hurricane season begins yet again, our hope for all of Florida is “Nothing but Blue Skies from now on.”
